A place for craft in everyday life.

We started TEAVOIR with a belief: traditional craft should be seen, used and reimagined for the way we live today.

Our starting point is Ru ceramics from Ruzhou, China. From a shared pot of tea to your first coffee of the day, we want these pieces to find a natural place in your routine.

01 / Why Ru ceramics

A tradition you can hold.

There is much to notice in Ru ceramics: the soft blue of a glaze, the curve of a rim and the fine lines that give each surface its own character.

Its long history gives these details another dimension. Using a piece lets you experience them for yourself, one cup at a time.

Gaiwans, teapots and tea pitchers continue the familiar rituals of preparing and sharing tea. Our mugs bring the same ceramic tradition to morning coffee, afternoon tea and a quiet moment at your desk.

Ceramic bead bracelets offer another way to enjoy the collection’s colour and texture. Different forms make room for different ways of living.

Every piece earns its place.

At TEAVOIR, careful selection continues after firing. Around half of our Ru ceramic pieces meet our final selection standards for glaze colour, form and finish.

Natural variation is part of ceramics, and careful selection means looking closely at each piece. We also share what to expect from Ru glaze and how to care for it, so you can choose with a clearer understanding.

In Ruzhou, Yang Linpeng and our artisan team design and make TEAVOIR’s Ru Series. Their work brings traditional ceramic skills to forms intended for everyday use.
