I like the design and use it when serving tea to guests. For my everyday drink I tend to reach for something with a little more capacity.
The shape is unusual enough to feel special, yet it is not awkward in the hand. I have received several compliments on it.
The opening is wide enough to enjoy the aroma, and the rim feels refined. It makes a small tea session feel more intentional.
The cup is well made and the glaze is lovely. The rim is wider than my usual cups, which took a couple of uses to get accustomed to.
The base, body, and rim are very well balanced visually. It is one of those objects that looks good even sitting empty on the shelf.
I keep this beside my kettle at work. It is comfortable for short tea breaks and does not take up much room.
The halo-like profile gives this cup a recognizable shape, but it still feels quiet and easy to pair with other pieces.
Mine has gentle variations in the glaze that follow the curve of the cup. They add depth while the overall look stays clean.
I prefer brewing several short infusions, and this cup is a good match for that style. The tea cools to drinking temperature quickly.
